Positive Momentum
ByGreat week! Even after a weekend of pure indulgence (the 4th), I was able to focus and lose another pound and a few more inches. Forgive me but I forgot to write down the exact numbers so I will post that next week. The meals are going great and I feel motivated – lifting weights with a friend 3 times a week and now going to spin classes. It’s been great! Thanks Tiffany for all your motivation and words of wisdom – I know myself, I would have thrown in the towel by now but you have kept me on track.
The challenge I am facing now is going out – lunch meetings and out with friends. I have to find a way to use the skills I have been taught to make good decisions when others are not (I am working on my will power).
Here’s to the start of a new week and hopefully good results at the end of the week when I weigh in!

My friends seem to always want to eat out! It is definitely a difficult challenge finding foods on the menu. I sometimes try to eat a little snack before and then just get something small like a starter, or side salad.
Good luck, and look forward to hearing how everything goes

Great job Angie! Hope the plan continues to go well. I know you can do it when you put your mind to something, and with all Tiffany’s experience and knowledge, it sounds like you’ll have all the tools you need. Keep up the great workouts with bootcamp too! It will all pay off with the results you are working towards!

Going out can be tough, but I find just telling your friends first that you are on this “crazy” diet where you can’t have (list the foods here). Plus include that you already have loss X amount of pounds and X amount of inches. All my friends and family said, “I couldn’t do THAT! I can’t live without (insert food here).” And they will either leave you alone and you can order that grilled chicken salad with oil & vinegar without the croutons and cheese in peace OR they will be fascinated about how you are coping and they will become your best cheering section.
